Battery care also affects long-term value. As electric transport becomes more mainstream, buyers are becoming less willing to treat a vehicle as disposable. Before selecting a model, check whether normal wear items can be replaced and whether the vehicle uses standard or proprietary components. Standard parts may be easier to source, while model-specific parts can offer a better fit but require dependable retailer support. Neither option is automatically better. It depends on how often the vehicle will be used and how long the owner intends to keep it.
